A registered office service contract may also be signed by an authorized representative, provided the necessary documentation is available.
The authorized representative is entitled to sign the required documents if the following conditions are met.
Required documents when acting through an authorized representative:
A power of attorney with two witnesses, in which the legal representative authorizes the person signing
The ID card or passport of the authorized representative + address card (the side showing the address)
The ID card or passport of the company’s legal representative + address card (the side showing the address)
What documents can the authorized representative sign?
With proper authorization, the representative may sign the following:
- Registered office service contract
- Client identification form
- Beneficial ownership declaration
Exception: Postal authorization
Postal authorization must be signed by the company’s legal representative only!
Magyar Posta compares the signature to the official specimen, so it cannot be signed by anyone else.
