Postal Authorization – Why is it necessary, and how to fill it out?

The registered office service contract alone does not authorize us to receive your company’s official postal shipments.
For this, a separate postal authorization prescribed by the Hungarian Post is required, which is only valid in its original, signed form.

Why is postal authorization necessary?
According to current legislation, the registered office service provider may only receive the client’s official mail (e.g. letters from NAV, courts, company registry) if:

  • a written,
  • original,
  • properly completed and signed postal authorization is available.

How to fill it out?
Top right section – fields marked with a red circle:

  • Organization name: full company name
  • Company registration number: must be indicated directly below the registered office address

Bottom left section:

  • Signature of the company representative is required, matching the specimen signature.

Important information
We can only start receiving mail after the original postal authorization has arrived at our office.
This document is legally mandatory; without it, the Hungarian Post will not permit the acceptance of mail.
